Hi,

habe den Datalogger von RoyalTek geschenkt bekommen, bin aber nicht so glücklich damit. Nach dem aufzeichnen einer Biketour sind die Daten nicht für die Verwendung mit dem MTB-Simulator geeignet. Die Positionsdaten incl. Höhen schwanken anscheinend deutlich, wodurch die Software ständig zwischen +14% und - 10% Steigung von Sek zu Sek schwankt. Ergebnis ist immer MIN- oder MAX-Wattzahl zum treten :-o
Deutlich wirds auch in GoogleMaps oder Earth wenn man sich Streckenhalts für Kartennachschlagen oder Pausen anschaut. Da sind richtige Wollknäuel anstelle eines Punktes.
Hat jemand eine Geräteempfehlung, mit der er gute Erfahrungen in Kombination mit dem MTB-Simulator gemacht hat?

Hallo bibo,

man kann höchstens schon mal versuchen die Höhendaten anhand der Koordinaten "errechnen" zu lassen. Das geht bei GPSies (), vielleicht auch mit Google Earth. Ich habe aber beides noch nicht ausprobiert.
Dann müsste man noch falsche, bzw. überflüssige Koordinaten entfernen (notfalls manuell z. B. mit g7towin).

Gerne schaue ich mir die GPX-Datei auch mal selbst an (einfach mal zumailen).

Am besten ist aber wohl doch die Anschaffung eines guten GPS-Handgeräts oder -Bikecomputers. Auf der Eurobike wurde z. B. der neue Garmin Edge 800 vorgestellt und von "Insidern" für gut befunden ;)

Ich verwende derzeit einen Garmin Etrex Vista HCx, der ist (im Gegensatz zu seinen Vorgängern) ziemlich empfangsstark und dank barometrischen Höhenmesser passen auch die Höhendaten sehr gut.
