Ich Wohne in Turbenthal im schönen Tösstal in der Schweiz, die nächste grössere Ort ist die Stadt Winterhur. Es gibt hier viele möglichkeiten zum Biken, zwar nicht viele Höhenmeter am Stück. Am meisten gibt es von Steg aufs Hörnli 700 hm am Stück. Ab da es sehr Hügelig kommt man so auf einer Tour auch auf einige Höhnenmeter.
Vor der Haustür habe ich einen kurzen Aufstieg zum Girenbad ca 250 Hm hoch leider alles Teerstrasse (runter Singeltrail :D ), die Tour de Suisse fuhr hier auch schon hoch. Oder durchs schöne Hutzikertobel auf Forststrassen und Singeltrails hoch auf den Schauenberg, gibt immerhin 300 Hm.
Bin ausschliesslich mit dem MTB unterwegs. Mache nicht soviele Km wie die meisten hier komme so 1600 Km und 12700 Hm. Ich fahr meist gemühtlich Touren und geniesse die Natur.

Hallo zusammen

Ich bin in St.Valentin/Niederösterreich zu Hause - ca.20km von Linz entfernt.
Leider eine sehr flache Gegend und so zieht's mich zum Biken eher ins nahegelegenen Ennstal bzw. Mühlviertel wo es sehr schöne und anspruchsvolle Touren gibt. Wohne in einem Einfamilienhaus mit Frau und 2 Jungs (14 und 7) Tochter ist bereits außer Haus :)

Würde mich freuen Euch mal persönlich kennenzulernen und hoffe ein Treffen kommt irgendwann doch noch zu Stande :!:

Hi Walter,
es sind halt immer nur die Gleichen die hier schreiben und bei den Trainingseinheiten mit machen.
Vielleicht werden es ja noch mehr, lassen wir uns einfach mal überraschen.
Ein Treffen wie schon letztes Jahr einmal geplant, dürfte halt doch schwieriger werden als gedacht. Ergibt sich ev. Einmal ganz spontan.
Ich bin überzeugt, dass einige von uns ohne es auch nur zu ahnen recht nahe zueinander wohnen, aber woher auch wissen wenn keiner seinen Wohnort nennt.
Schauen mer mal ob's diesmal was wird.

...da ich ja auch nicht gleicher bin als die Gleichen sollt Ihr meinen Wohnort auch wissen:
Großenmeer bei Oldenburg/Oldb. Plattes Land soweit das Auge reicht, in der Nähe von Ostfriesland.

Aber einige Flecken mit Wald und Hügeln gibt es hinter dem Horizont doch: In Sandkrug die Osenberge, ganze 20m (zwanzig Meter :oops:) hoch. (Mit ordendlich Wald umzu, hat letzte Woche für 3 Std Spass gereicht)
Also mit Treffen eher schwierig.

Inspiriert von Euch, bei Youtube die "Gletschersau-" und "Fahrradhansi" und "Grappabiker-"Filme hab ich mir ja fest nen Alpencross ins Gehirn gepflanzt, dann muß ich ja an Euch vorbei :lol:
Vielleicht gibts da ne Möglichkeit. ;)

Hab grad Google Maps bemüht um Dich zu finden - ist ja voll in der Ecke , letzte Haus links :lol:

In Satelliten-Ansicht zeigt die Karte aber gewaltig viele Wege durch den Wald, muß gut Laune machen dort zu heizen.

Noch ne Frage: mir ist schon oft aufgefallen dass Du sehr schnell auf Forenbeiträge antwortest obwohl Du nicht online bist. welche Handy -App nutzt Du denn, ist die empfehlenswert? ;)

Hi Michael,
ich habe ein ganz normales IPhone.
Habe aber tagsüber im Büro immer mehrere Monitore um mich und auf einem sehe ich halt immer was so geht im Internet und mit einem Auge schau ich auch immer mal im Forum vorbei.
Also nichts Besonderes.
Was die Wege hinter meinem Haus betrifft, so ist das schon ne tolle Sache. Schon ein wenig anders als so ne Düne. ;)
Aber sollte ja bekannt sein, dass ich doch auch ganz gerne am Clausen bin. Da kann's noch so schöne Wege haben. :lol:
